Frederic Remington (1861-1909)
"Coming thru the Rye" This beautiful bronze was
created in the lost wax bronze casting process and has been
hand finished by skilled artists. Each piece is a one of
a kind and is 100% bronze. It measures approximately 13
inches high by 12 inches long and it is mounted on a beautiful
solid marble base. We are one of the only Bronze wholesalers
selling directly to the public. By cutting out art galleries,
we save you hundreds and even thousands of dollars. This
beautiful bronze retails for $1800.00.
Coming Through The Rye was Remington's first effort in using
more than two horses and was his largest piece to date.
To Remington this scene represented a joyful experience
of cowboy and horse having completed a strenuous cattle
drive of weeks on the trail. The four men and horses have
taken on with reckless abandon and are rollicking in the
freedom from daily chores.
